POISE WINS BEST 2011 SPA DESIGN AWARD
Barely six months into business, Poise Organise Wellness Studio (POISE) has clinched the 2011 ‘Best Spa Design’ Award, bestowed by the Asia Spa & Wellness Promotions Council (ASWPC). For a new outfit, this is a recognition which POISE has deservedly earned not only for its varied treatments, serene ambiance but also for embracing green technology applications.
ASWPC extended the award to POISE’s founders for managing a spa whose Asian decor is aesthetically welcoming, well organised and functional. It offers a selection of choice treatments ranging from aromatherapy, organic skincare treatments, mani-pedicure and reflexology, as part of its quest to indulge customers from head to toe.
Co-founders Connie Lim and Gillian Wong were jubilant with this win, a testimony to their business strategy for POISE. Connie explained, “We sought to create a quiet abode where one can spend an entire day enjoying the different offerings, and at the same time feel at home.
“We are conscious of reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible, and try to use solar energy besides recycling rainwater for landscaping, laundry and for other general purposes, too.”
POISE is housed in a 3-story building, artistically decorated to present a quiet, serene abode. There are five private treatment rooms, steam room, Jacuzzi, one full-mirrored dance studio, a café serving signature healthy drinks and snacks.
With nine therapists on hand offering Balinese, Shiatsu and Thai techniques, POISE uses 100% botanical aromatherapy oil that have no alcohol, no chemicals or synthetic fragrance, and also made in Malaysia.
“Customers feel at home and at peace whenever at POISE. We love to pamper them with excellent 5-star treatments that are at 3-star pricing”, added Gillian Wong.
POISE is running special promotions until June 2011, with packages priced at RM298 for 2 “Rosy Indulgence Milk Bath Treatment”. Opened daily from 10a.m. until 10p.m., customers can call POISE at +603 – 7980 8890 or log on to their website at www.poiseows.com for further information and bookings.
